Yes I would love another skigloo but it was a huge amount of work and if I am honest there is a 1% chance of it happening.

I was actually asking myself a couple of days ago whether there would be a skigloo again this winter season. I really enjoyed the times working on it and then there was of course the famous opening party with the great romance corner that didn’t really work. The best thing for this year would be to get some cheap labor to help build it and also build it a little bit different. Let me call my dad to see if he can help with the cheap labor issue. Or does Hitech Export provide skIgloo building services?

Hi Katie, what wages would one of your resort staff members get, from and to? I worked in a French hotel years ago in 2 Alpes and the wages were pretty good, you just got no time off at all. I had some mates in the resort who got horrible wages and a fair bit of time off working for tour ops and chalets.

If you work for a tour operator you should get a lift pass as part of your package. These are not always free to the tour operator (the lift pass company usually offers a discounted rate for them). We include local passes as part of what we give staff and they can then upgrade to full area passes at cost price.

I had no idea it was a world beater of a ski piste, I knew it was long and also had huge vertical, Solden from the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers offers close to 2km of vertical. Fortunately there are many places to stop off – Solden has a great choice of après ski huts. I also rate the Solden ski region very highly – it has height, variety, ski-in, ski-out accommodation, some of the best après ski in the world and twin glaciers at the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach. Solden is all good!

In this region we find and the longest trail in the world with a length of 14 km. For lovers of free-ride I recommend slope Rettenbachtal, with a length of 6 km. It’s the greatest ski region.

yes what a great winter we had last year. hopefully this one will be as good. i usually take my long holidays in november traveling to south america to enjoy some sun before the winter. i love the feeling to sit in a warm place following the snow forecasts back home and knowing that you will be welcomed by a thick layer of snow when you arrive back home. Hopefully I will feel this sensation this November as well. so what are the plans for this years winter opening party? you need to make sure to show josh all the important things in life.
