Hahnenkamm 09 – practice starts in 6 days after course approval

The ultimate ski race of the year, the Streif on the Hahnenkamm, Kitzbuhel passed its first hurdle last week with the FIS inspection passing the course preparations in the build up to the race weekend. Now it is just 6 days until the greatest snow sport race of the year gets underway. The schedule for the 69th Hahnenkamm race week is as follows:

Note that between the finish of the downhill on Saturday and the start of the slalom on Sunday, Kitzbuhel throws the biggest party in the Alps – it really is huge. We will be covering the event and hope to do some pretty innovative things this year.

2 things, your Fischer RC4 have rusty edges and you are just 2 weeks back from ruptured ankle ligaments.
I think you could expect a podium in the saufen rennen. Maybe you and DJ Otzi could go head to head?
Will Flo be representing team MPries this year ? I would like to hear how his pre season fitness regime has gone . Was he able to train on New Years day as he proclaimed the night before ( drinking around a snowy fire – perhaps to get the eye of the tiger as in the Rocky movies )?
Will Flo’s press accredidation allow access to the Swiss ski team hotel this year ? Will he befuddle Ambrosie Hoffman again or has the poor man dropped out of the race in anticpation of another surreal moment curtesy of the Flo ?
