Correctomungo. 40 in September. The worrying aspect is that I want to rekindle my lost youth. For this I am seriously looking into the purchase of what according to my wife is currently falling under the category of 'impractical waste' - a disused cable car. I concede that its uses could be outweighed by its pitfalls but if you can recall that feeling of seeing the latest football boots in a shop window or visiting a friends house who had tin can alley, then you might begin to approach the torn feeling that I have in the run up to my 40th. I don't want to be trying a bungee jump on my 70th birthday - I want to do some dumb stuff for my 40th. All this from a maturing family skier !
