Why Austria?

Well back in 2001 my soon to be wife (married in 2007) presented a rather tough choice. Munich or Innsbruck? I wrote to the Austrian tourist board, got a ski piste map of Innsbruck and circled all the suitable areas, put it in an envelope and sent it over to Munich. We settled for Gotzens, one of the villages circled on the map and white on the winter side of the twin season map.
Well, lucky me, I was born here!
