Winter rolls on in Innsbruck

So the winter continues here in Austria with heavy snow over night down to around 700m on the mountains to the south of Innsbruck. The rest of the week is set to have light snow and sun, whilst the weekend is due to be cold with more snow. Great weather today here in Innsbruck with clear skies and white mountains on all sides and to make you all less jealous, I am in the office all day and can only gaze out at the incredible scenery.
i thought i was the only one watching this perfect day through my office window. these days are hard but at least the weekend is around the corner. i am still rather so close to the mountains and get tortured sometimes during the weeks.
Well we have night skiing starting about now in Kuhtai I think as well as in Steinach. More snow forecast for the weekend. If the weather breaks this weekend I would be up for a trip to Serfaus or maybe just back to Lizum. It was about this time 2 years ago that I ruptured my ACL in the first powder of the season at Lizum – nicht gut! So keep me on the pistes – also we have to start the winter project any time now, do you think the suby can get up the forest weg?
