Andorra La Vella is the capital of Andorra and its principal city. For ski holidays the Andorra La Vella does not offer direct access to the ski slopes but instead provides the visitor with an excellent location from which to explore the 3 main ski holiday regions in Andorra. On top of its location, Andorra La Vella has the greatest range of facilities in Andorra as well as superb shopping and excellent hotels and restaurants. The closest skiing to Andorra La Vella is either La Massana which accesses the Pal ski area, or Encamp which has a lift into the Grandvalira ski region.
