ARCALIS SKI HOLIDAYS

Arcalis is the most remote of the Andorran ski resorts. It is part of the Vallnord ski region and is jointly marketed with the nearby village of Ordino. The ski area is the smallest of the three main areas in Andorra but also boasts some of the best snow as well as superb scenery. The skiing over by La Coma is wonderful if not too challenging, with a real sense of wilderness about the area, being located in a large natural bowl. The ski area is located at 1940m and has no accommodation slope-side so all visitors need to use public or private transport to access the skiing. Visitors stay in the villages of El Serrat and beyond, with Ordino being the biggest and most attractive in the area.

Arcalis offers families an enclosed learners area right next to a sun terrace and the area over toward La Coma offers a superb green back around the mountain to the base station at Arcalis.
