ARINSAL FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

Arinsal has a large beginners ski area located just above Comallempla. The area has moving carpets and is flat in gradient. Facilities are on offer in the nearby lift complex. The skiing beyond that in the Arinsal ski area is ideal for beginner skiers but for the lack of tree cover which is not ideal when bad weather rolls in, making visibility poor. The route over into Pal is well worth a trip for families with an ok standard of skiing. The area in Pal is more extensive, is still pretty gentle and forgiving and has the advantage of tree-cover which helps during poor weather.

ARINSAL FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

Arinsal has a well deserved reputation for après ski and the tour rep led bar crawl is often in evidence. That said Arinsal experiences far less traffic than other ski holiday resorts in Andorra. And whilst there is no run back down to Arinsal from the ski area, the lift is centrally located in what is a fairly compact resort village.

The skiing is OK for families but there is no tree cover and the apres ski might be off-putting.
