ENCAMP SKI HOLIDAYS

Encamp is the closest access point to Andorra La Vella for the Grandvalira ski region. Encamp is linked to the ski area by the lengthy Funicamp ski lift which runs from the main road in Encamp. Being the closest access point means a good deal of visitors from Andorra La Vella although there is a reasonable resort feel to Encamp. The resort is modern and has a good deal of new buildings as well as the main France to Spain road running through it which brings heavy traffic. There are no runs back down to Encamp so visitors are required to take the Funicamp lift down or ski down to one of the neighbouring resorts and make their way back to Encamp. The location of Encamp makes it the best resort on the Grandvalira to access the Vallnord area.
