AXAMER LIZUM SNOWBOARDING
Axamer Lizum is one of the best locations around Innsbruck for snowboarding. It has a good height, some great open bowls as well as tree skiing and is popular with Innsbruck locals. As well as the natural terrain there is a terrain park located in the centre of the ski holiday resort. Most lifts are chairs or funiculars although the terrain park is served by two surface lifts.

AXAMER LIZUM SNOWBOARDING INFO
Some of the best snowboard terrain is located on either side of the Damen Abfart (Women’s Olympic Downhill) with large open bowls and further down some excellent tree routes. The steepest run is down from the Birgitzerkopfelhaus and on either side of the black piste are some excellent tree runs. Axamer Lizum is located in a steep sided valley and there are very few flat sections or connecting pistes, maybe the only one being at the end of the Damen Abfart.
