AXAMER LIZUM SUMMER HOLIDAYS
Summer in the resort of Axamer Lizum is a quiet affair and those looking for more than cows and immediate access to the mountains and summer walking lifts should head further down into the valley in one of the holiday villages that serve Axamer Lizum. The large car park and stark village do nothing to enhance the superb surroundings in the summer.
AXAMER LIZUM SUMMER HOLIDAY INFO
Lower in the valley are villages that offer real communities, good access to Innsbruck, plenty of recreation and access to Axamer Lizum via public or private transport. Axams has an impressive outdoor swimming pool and tennis whilst Gotzens is slightly bigger and has a new gondola running in the summer that accesses mountain restaurants and a kids play area. Mutters further down the plateau also has tennis and swimming and is a very pretty and tranquil village with trams running into Innsbruck and a gondola up the mountain.
