BRIXEN SKI HOLIDAYS

The ski holiday resort of Brixen is located on the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser ski region and is close geographically to both Westendorf and Kitzbuhel. The Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser is one of the most popular and impressive intermediate ski regions in the whole of Austria. From the 2008/09 winter Brixen will host the lift connecting the ski area at Westendorf to the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser, in the process creating the biggest linked ski area in Austria and one of the biggest in the world. Brixen is one of the bigger towns in the region and has a year round population of locals to add to the ski holiday visitors. Brixen is pretty strung out as a town and has rapid access to the heart of the Ski Welt Wilder Kaiser ski region, in fact offering one of the most central locations.
