FLACHAU APRÈS SKI

Flachau offers one of the best après ski scenes in the region. There are numerous mountain huts that offer après ski during the afternoon and around the central area of Flachau there are numerous bars that offer dancing till late. The giant fibreglass beer glass that appears on the horizon of the piste back to Flachau is a telltale sign of things to come. Located in the centre of the piste and advertising an après mountain hut, the place is packed at the close of lifts during the winter. Other huts dot the mountain and are popular. Around the lift stations in the valley the après ski action continues.

Some of the accommodation in Flachau can be a little distant from the main centre of action in Flachau. Taxis or staggers in ski boots are the order of the night for the more distant accommodation.
