FLACHAU FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

Flachau is one of the main ski resorts to the south of Salzburg. The resort has good facilities and there are numerous hotels that offer facilities and themes targeting family directly. The skiing in the region is well geared to the family with most of the skiing being below the tree-line and limited to beginner or intermediate skiing.

FLACHAU FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

One downside of the village of Flachau for family ski holidays is the drawn nature of the development. Flachau is spacious and if the guest is located close to the centre or lifts then ski buses are not required and the central amenities are within an easy walk. However some accommodation can be more distant and in this case both ski buses and short walks are required. The lack of a major pedestrianised area in Flachau is something that takes from the family experience as well.
