FULPMES-SCHLICK FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

Fulpmes-Schlick ski area is pretty decent option for families and is popular with the locals and those from nearby Innsbruck. The skiing takes place in a natural rock bowl and all the runs flow back down into the narrow valley that eventually leads down to Fulpmes. There is a gondola with a mid station that allows kids and families to download after a long and gentle run out of the main ski area from the Schlickeralm. The download avoids a lengthy and sometimes narrow track back down into Fulpmes.

FULPMES-SCHLICK FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

The ski holiday resort of Fulpmes is generally good for families with a fairly calm traffic situation and a leisure centre. The leisure centre has swimming as well as tennis. Just down the valley is Innsbruck which can be reached via road or the excellent Stubaitalbahn tram. The tram runs from Fulpmes to the heart of Innsbruck, passing through many villages en-route. The tram takes longer than the road option but is fantastically scenic and a relaxing way to travel through the mountains. Innsbruck has a great deal to offer in terms of facilities and entertainment.
