GORTIPOHL SKI HOLIDAYS

The ski holiday resort of Gortipohl is located between the resorts of St Gallenkirch and Gaschurn. Gortipohl together with these two larger ski holiday resorts access the biggest and best ski area in the entire Montafon ski region. Although there are no lifts or ski pistes directly connecting Gortipohl to the Silvretta Nova ski area, Gortipohl is well located for accessing the lifts that leave the 2 resorts. As is typical of the ski holiday resorts in the Montafon region, Gortipohl is low-rise and fairly spread out with accommodation lining the main road through the valley as well as occupying the lower mountainside. Walking trails and langlauf tracks run through the valley. Ski buses connect Gortipohl to the lifts into the Silvretta Nova ski region.

The Silvretta Nova has reputed the biggest snow park in Austria whilst intermediates do best in the ski area. Gortipohl has no lift out of the resort, but once in the Silvretta Nova the lift system is good.
