GOSAU SKI HOLIDAYS

Gosau occupies a scenic and charming valley in the Dachstein West ski region of Austria and offers intermediate skiing and snowboarding that links several local villages. Gosau is made up of three separate parts and stretches along a valley that ends with the formidable Dachstein peaks. The skiing is almost all tree-lined and for intermediates there is a good amount of terrain to tackle. For the best skiers and snowboarders there is the Krippenstein Freeride Arena just a short drive away where some of the toughest terrain in the Alps can be found. Gosau is attractive and traditional whilst cross-country ski routes line the valley floor, reflecting the relaxed pace of the valley.
