HINTERGLEMM SKI HOLIDAYS

Part of the Ski Circus ski region with 200km of mainly intermediate ski pistes, Hinterglemm along with Saalbach is one of the bigger regional ski areas. Hinterglemm is jointly marketed with Saalbach and is in essence a combined village as both areas sprawl down the valley to meet. The villages however differ in the guests that they entertain with Hinterglemm having a reputation for being the quieter of the two villages. Saalbach is rightly rated as offering one of the best après ski scenes in Europe. Hinterglemm accesses a variety of peaks on both sides of the valley offering extensive ski terrain (if somewhat limited to beginner and intermediate ski pistes). There are several lifts accessing this area that leave around Hinterglemm.

HINTERGLEMM SKI HOLIDAY INFO

The skiing in Hinterglemm is extensive and best suits the beginner or intermediate skier or boarder. There is little to test the more advanced levels. There are a number of lifts leaving Hinterglemm to both sides of the valley and there is a beginners ski area just outside the village with a number of lifts spreading out along the valley.
