HOCHFUGEN FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

Fugen, the village / ski holiday resort that serves the Hochfugen ski area is located some 1000m below the ski area in the Zillertal Valley. It is a small and authentic village with excellent access to the Innsbruck valley and regional airports. Fugen is smaller than some of the other villages in the Zillertal and has an authentic feel to it. Fugen is set back from the main Zillertal Valley road and as a result has reduced traffic disruption although Fugen is either a bus or car journey from the skiing and many visitors rely on the their cars to access the Hochfugen ski area. There is a dedicated beginners and kids ski area located at the base station in Hochfugen and the skiing is generally good for beginners to advance into.
