HOCHFUGEN SKIING

The Hochfugen ski area is linked with the Hochzillertal ski area to form an impressively sized and reasonably high intermediate ski region. The Hochfugen ski area can be accessed via the base station, some 1000m above the ski holiday resort of Fugen or via the valley based gondolas at Kaltenbach. The Hochfugen skiing is ideal for intermediates with some interesting routes over to the far end of the Hochzillertal area. Beginners in Hochfugen have a good sized ski area located on the western edge of the Hochfugen base station whilst the majority of the ski pistes in Hochfugen are gentle blues. There is little tough skiing on-piste in either Hochfugen or Hochzillertal.

Hochfugen is good fro beginners and lower intermediates and connects into the Hochzillertal area to form a large ski region. Little tough terrain.
