HOCHFUGEN SKI HOLIDAYS

The ski area of Hochfugen is located at the head of the Zillertal Valley and is lift linked with the neighbouring ski area of Hochzillertal to form a shared area offering impressive intermediate skiing and a good top lift height of almost 2400m. The Hochfugen ski area is served by the ski holiday village of Fugen down in the Zillertal Valley as well as a base station at Hochfugen, located at 1500m that consists of car parking and a limited amount of accommodation. The Hochfugen ski area is the smaller section of the combined area but from the base station it is very straightforward to access the high altitude skiing of the Hochzillertal ski area and the high point of the combined ski area. There is a large beginners ski area on the western edge of the base station.
