HOCHSOLDEN SKI HOLIDAYS

Hochsolden is the ski-in, ski-out satellite ski holiday resort that serves Solden and accesses both the Solden ski area as well as the Solden glaciers. Located 700m higher than Solden, at over 2000m, Hochsolden enjoys superb snow, a wonderful alpine location and instant access to the slopes, with the resort being totally ski-in, ski-out. Whilst the guests down in Solden begin their way up the mountain, those staying in Hochsolden can enjoy empty groomed pistes or fresh powder. Equally getting to the Solden / Otztal glaciers is far quicker from Hochsolden. At the end of the day, there are a number of slope-side terraces and bars to relax in.

HOCHSOLDEN SKI HOLIDAY INFO

Hochsolden has very much a refined feel to it with the resort consisting of a cluster of impressive hotels, located amongst superb and dramatic scenery at over 2090m. Hochsolden is also much quieter than Solden down in the valley; Solden is rated as having possibly the best après ski in the world. Life after the slopes in Hochsolden is far more relaxed and whilst there are a number of après ski terraces, most visitors tend to ski on down to Solden. Evenings in Hochsolden are sedate compared to the mayhem down in the valley and most of the entertainment is hotel based.

Attractive setting located high on the mountain and some impressive hotels. Most of the entertainment takes place inside of Hochsolden accommodation.
