HOCHZILLERTAL APRÈS SKI

The Hochzillertal ski area is dotted with impressive and substantial mountain huts that offer on slope après ski. At the base station down in Kaltenbach there are numerous après ski bars and huts that offer more après ski options for those back at village level. Kaltenbach itself has a more rounded feel to it than some resorts in the Alps and there are a good number of locals that ensure a more authentic mix – this is a fairly common in the Zillertal Valley.

THE GOOD, THE BAD

Very many après ski bars on the mountain and in Kaltenbach

  We don`t like:
The après ski dies down around the base station reasonably early
