IGLS FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

The sleepy village of Igls is very much geared to families and those wanting a relaxed break in a very traditional Austrian ski holiday resort. Whilst the resort does not offer the typical and broad range of family facilities that some of the bigger resorts offer, then the charm and relaxed pace of Igls has great appeal. The ski pistes are on the whole gentle and there is a dedicated childrens ski area at the base station. Igls is not pedestrianised but the village centre has a slow pace to its and traffic through it tends to be light.

Some hotels require a ski bus. Cable car not ideal.

IGLS FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

Whilst Igls does not have the resort facilities for families that the bigger resorts have, the regional capital of Innsbruck is juts down in the valley from Igls. Innsbruck has facilities that you would expect from a university city of 120 000, along with a charming and atmospheric old town.
