INNSBRUCK NORDPARK SKI HOLIDAYS

Innsbruck Nordpark is the ski area directly above Innsbruck and is accessed via the Old Town area (in the heart of the city), by the new Hungerburgbahn, which opened in late 2007. Innsbruck Nordpark has a loyal following from locals in the northern part of Innsbruck and offers a terrain park, a family ski area as well as some of the most extreme terrain in Austria. Those wanting intermediate cruises should look elsewhere. The views across the city and into the Stubai valley are impressive and the new investment in the lift systems has made it easier to access the extreme terrain around Hafelekar. From the top station at the Hafelekar, there are a number of extreme routes back down into the central area around the Seegrube restaurant and lift.
