INNSBRUCK FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

The resort of Innsbruck has extensive facilities and amenities, as you would expect from a university city of 120 000 residents. The medieval old town is superb for shopping and eating / drinking and in the run up to Christmas, a Christmas market is set up in the centre. Innsbruck has excellent public transport and is on the main rail route between Switzerland, Munich and Salzburg. Numerous leading ski holiday resorts and towns and cities are reachable from Innsbruck on day trips. The ski holiday villages located around Innsbruck offer the alternative location for a family ski holiday and benefit from the location next to the ski slopes and lifts. In general they also have a more relaxed and alpine feel than the city of Innsbruck.

Christmas is the time to take the family , the kids will love the atmosphere of what could almost be decribed as lapland in the old town of Innsbruck
