Fantastic for all levels- really wonderful that even those who aren\'t great skiers can go to the top of the mountain and enjoy long runs.

We stayed at a hotel in Innusbruck - would recommend this approach for those who also want to go some \"non-ski\" activities. The alpine zoo is well worth a visit.

Highlight though was the night tabogganing paid for by the hotel as we stayed for longer than 3 nights. It was only once a week BUT it worth being there for

Innsbruck has so much skiing on it's doorstep it's rediculous! From the Glacier at Stubai ( 40mins) or Igls ( 10mins) but there is at least another 4 resorts close by in the vacinity , which make Innsbruck an ideal location to fly into.

Innsbruck is a brilliant location as it is central to many different resorts.. in the Four nights we were there we skiied and boarded at 3 different resorts - including St Anton only 1.5 Hrs via train. We were a bit dissapointed that the Bobsled run in Ingls was closed despite the fact it had been advertised as being open :-(

We only went out on New Years Eve when we were in St Anton and had a brilliant time very fun and happy people !! Innsbruck was amazing for NY too - albeit cold they put on an awesome fireworks display with a number of stages and bands throughout the old town

The resorts around Innsbruck offer something for each level of skiing, the Nordpark at Innsbruck is a very challenging resort...you have to be advanced, but then it is really cool...and not to forget the amazing view on Innsbruck. And each year you will find the worlds best snowboarders in Innsbruck - for the air&style contest.

Innsbruck is a city, so you can do a lot of other things besides skiing. Nightlife is great, Innsbruck is a student-city so there are quite a lot parties going on. It is not the cheapest city, but the wonderful panorama may compensate that.

From downtown Innsbruck you can be at the top of Seegrube in 15 minutes. Fantastic views!

The resorts are not huge but you can find some great runs there.

You have some ok apres ski in the ski areas, but afterwards you have a great party atmosphere in innsbruck.

It seemed like Igls was good for beginner skiing, the Nordkete is Extreme to say the least.

Some excellent beginners ski resorts around Innsbruck and the Stubai Glacier offers superb intermediate skiing. Advanced skiing is more isolated but is superb at Innsbruck Nordpark and very good at Axamer Lizum.

Great value, mediaeval city with all manner of attractions. Superb and atmospheric ‘old town.’

Not a resort as such and no skiing takes place in the city but some of the best facilities anywhere.

Not your normal umbrella bar but diverse and full of life with great prices.
