KAPPL APRÈS SKI

Kappl pretty much leaves the après ski to its famous neighbour, Ischgl and for après ski there are few contenders for the Ischgl King of après ski crown. Families rule in Kappl and whilst there are a number of bars and restaurants in the resort then après ski is very much a secondary pass time in Kappl. Just down the valley Ischgl offers après ski that is just about as good as it gets anywhere. Ski buses and regional buses link the ski holiday resorts of Ischgl and Kappl for those wanting to experience après ski on the grandest scale.

Schafstahl on slopes in village was good but place at foot of slopes beside gondola (attached to Auhof Hotel) was better. Really great atmosphere with all the family getting on down to pumping apres ski tunes.
