KITZBUHEL THE SKI HOLIDAY RESORT

Kitzbuhel offers one the most atmospheric and interesting ski holiday villages in Europe. Kitzbuhel is very much a year round resort and the amenities and facilities in Kitzbuhel are impressive. The walled medieval centre of Kitzbuhel is truly outstanding and hosts some great bars, restaurants and shops. The resort has an upmarket feel to it but is no way stuffy in the way some Swiss or French resorts can feel. There is good value accommodation and Kitzbuhel is a working town as well as an international resort. Being a year round resort, Kitzbuhel offers numerous town and hotel based activities including leisure facilities as well as many sports activities beyond skiing and snowboarding.

KITZBUHEL SKI HOLIDAY RESORT INFO

Shops are abundant in Kitzbuhel as are cafes and bars and whilst the non-skier is well catered for, these facilities are also often available after the ski lifts have stopped. Numerous events are organised throughout the winter and the last weekend in January sees what seems is the entire population of Austria descend on the town. For those wanting a peaceful break in the Alps then this is not the time to visit Kitzbuhel. For those who want a real carnival atmosphere and to see some of the greatest winter sports action of the year then it is great time to visit.

Trumpy little resort with the Euro been so strong, But the bars & restaurants are top notch , you can't help but have a good time & money isn't everything.

Beautiful place, very helpful and friendly people. Most things quite expensive, made even more so by the pound-euro exchange rate.
