KITZSTEINHORN GLACIER APRÈS SKI

There is après ski action on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier in the numerous bars around the Hausalm and higher. There is also some entertainment at the base station. The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, Kaprun and Zell am See are popular ski holiday areas, with a really international mix of skiers and boarders.

THE GOOD, THE BAD

  We like:
Après ski on the glacier at the mid station and in both Kaprun and especially Zell am See

  We don`t like:
Very little happening at the base station, essentially it is a car park with ski lifts

KITZSTEINHORN GLACIER APRÈS SKI INFO

Kaprun has a decent après ski scene. There are a number of bars dotted around the ski holiday resort and whilst it is not as lively as it s neighbour Zell am See, it is still a pretty good afternoon / evening out. Zell am See is one of the best après ski scenes in the region. There are numerous bars in Zell am See, a great international mix of guests to Zell am See and clubs go till late.

There are a couple of bars at the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier but Kaprun and Zell am See offer some good après ski.
