Kuhtai, Austria skiing and snowboarding guide. Kuhtai offers skiing on both sides of the resort and has some of the highest skiing in the Innsbruck ski region.

KUHTAI SKIING
Skiing is Kuhtai is high which means the snow is usually good and some of the best in the region, whilst the season tends to be long. All of the skiing in Kuhtai is above the tree-line and spreads out over the two sides of the valley, with the resort occupying the central area in the valley floor. The terrain suits beginners and intermediates but there is little serious terrain. Off-piste skiing is possible, although tree-skiing is not available. Some have been known to ski or board down the backside of the huge local hydroelectric dam, although this is likely to contravene numerous laws and is certainly not encouraged locally. Ski touring is popular in the area but most visitors to Kuhtai busy themselves on the intermediate and beginner cruisers.

KUHTAI SKI INFORMATION
In poor conditions Kuhtai can experience some pretty harsh conditions and visibility in the area can suffer. And for skiers and boarders needing more challenging areas then Kuhtai is not the best option. For those wanting snow reliability, great access to the slopes from the accommodation and intermediate cruisers in a comfortable resort then Kuhtai is a good choice.
