LADIS THE RESORT

Ladis has a striking and impressive castle at the heart of the ski holiday village. The resort is rated as the romantic alternative of the 3 villages in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region, possibly because of the castle, but also due to the relaxed and peaceful nature of the village. Ladis is reasonably spread out across the rolling fields, with farming dominating the land around the village. Ladis has superb views down the valley and is the easiest and first of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis villages on the road up form the valley. The back route to Ladis off the main mountain road ensures that the traffic that is heading onto Fiss and Serfaus passes a good distance from Ladis which helps create the peaceful ambience.

LADIS RESORT INFORMATION

There is apres ski in Ladis and a number of bars and restaurants but both Fiss and Serfaus are busier, more touristy resorts than Ladis. The main lift out of Ladis leaves from a reasonably central area but not much of the accommodation is ski-in, ski-out. Ladis sees lighter traffic than that passing through Fiss and Serfaus although some local traffic heads directly to the lift station car park. Ladis has an attractive traditional feel to it, with farm house type buildings and a spacious feel.
