LADIS SKIING

The skiing in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis area is some of the best in Austria and offers the intermediate skier or boarders endless km’s of intermediate cruisers. Families and beginners are also superbly catered for. The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is rated as the top childrens ski region in Austria and there are themed trails and attractions, dedicated learning zones and a full ski school programme. Beginners and families would normally ski at the mid-station of the Ladis-Fiss gondola, with the lift station offering the Ladis ski schools, beginners area and restaurants. Beyond that the gondola continues down into Fiss, this route can also be skied. The run back into Ladis from this area is gentle and ideal for beginners and families.

LADIS SKI INFORMATION

The skiing above Ladis is the least extensive of all the ski holiday resorts in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region. That said Ladis has excellent connections into the area above Fiss and then onto the Serfaus area. The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is rated as one of the best intermediate ski areas in Austria and it is possible to ski for many km’s into the far reaches of the ski area above Serfaus. Possibly the only draw-back to the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is the general lack of tree cover, with only Serfaus having ample tree cover just above the resort. In times of bad weather the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis can be a bit bleak. In times of sun then Ladis and the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski region has few equals in Austria or beyond.

Superb area for beginners, particularly kids and excellent lift system connecting the areas. Advanced skiing is ok further in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area and off-piste can be good, also further into the shared ski area.
