LECH - THE SKI HOLIDAY RESORT
Lech is beautifully located next to a river and surrounded by towering and dramatic mountains. The village is one of the prettiest in the Alps and the upmarket nature of Lech ensures that things are immaculately kept. Accommodation is located across the lower slopes and along the main street giving great access to the slopes and village amenities. Whilst there are no big communal facilities, Lech does offer a wide range of accommodation based activities. The hamlet of Oberlech has outstanding slope-side accommodation and atmosphere located some 200m above Lech. The resorts is dramatically located and has impressive hotels there.
THE GOOD, THE BAD

LECH - SKI HOLIDAY RESORT INFORMATION
Lech enjoys upmarket slope-side living, nowhere more so that in the satellite resort of Oberlech which is perched some 200m above Lech and consists of a cluster of impressive hotels. Guests there are not cut off from the resort below however as the cable car runs until after midnight during the season so guests to Oberlech can sample the wider choice of amenities that Lech has to offer and then return the magical seclusion of Oberlech. One disappointing feature of Lech is the heavy traffic and despite the fact that Lech is pretty much the last settlement in the valley, heavy traffic can build as guests look to park their cars. Baffling behaviour with such great access to the slopes from much of the accommodation.
