LEOGANG APRÈS SKI
The Saalbach - Hinterglemm - Leogang ski region is known for its great après ski. Mountain huts are everywhere in the ski area offering terraces and umbrella bars to soak up the afternoon sun and drink in. Leogang is no exception although the après ski in Leogang is less dominant than either Saalbach or Hinterglemm. The mountain huts are there as are the umbrella and base station drinking holes, but in general, Leogang is a quieter and more relaxed option to either Saalbach or Hinterglemm.
THE GOOD, THE BAD
We like:
Endless mountain huts with sunny terraces
We don`t like:
Quieter than either Saalbach or Hinterglemm après ski

LEOGANG APRÈS SKI INFORMATION
In a region that has such après ski power houses as Zell am See and Flachau, for Saalbach to offer possibly the best après ski in the region is quite an accomplishment. In fact, Saalbach has boasted in the past of the awards that have been conferred on the town in recognition of the quality of après ski in the resort. For those making their way back down from the mountain huts to Saalbach, endless après ski options stand in the way of a return to accommodation and from the throngs that frequent these locations, it is often the case that temptation exceeds endurance in Saalbach. Hinterglemm is just a little way behind Saalbach on the après ski front and offers a superb evening-out after skiing, should it be required.
