LEOGANG FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

The ski area in the entire Saalbach - Hinterglemm - Leogang is ideal for family ski holidays. There is ample ski terrain to spread the large numbers of visitors and the ski terrain is almost all tree-lined, a welcome factor for families in times of bad weather. The lift system in the Saalbach - Hinterglemm - Leogang is modern and impressive and mountain huts are numerous. There is a dedicated learners ski area located close to the centre of Leogang and the terrain above it, in the Leogang ski area is ideal for improving kids to develop into. Leogang has less abundant and more restrained après ski then either Saalbach or Hinterglemm.

LEOGANG FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

There is a beginners / kids learning area located close to the centre of Leogang, which is ideal for families. However for families wanting to ski in the main Leogang ski area and perhaps beyond into the Saalbach - Hinterglemm sector then the lift accessing these areas is located outside of Leogang and a car or ski bus is required to access the gondola. Leogang is located along one of the main valley transport routes in the region and there can be fairly traffic through the valley. Although this does not go directly through the centre of Leogang, it is worth noting.
