LERMOOS THE RESORT

The ski holiday resort of Lermoos is one of the bigger resorts in the Zugspitz Arena ski region. It caters for a good number of visitors in both the winter as well as the summer and has services to match, with extensive leisure, recreation and entertainment facilities. Lermoos stretches from the valley floor along the cross-country / langlauf tracks and up the mountainside to the bottom of the ski area and the ski lifts. Lermoos is low-rise as is common in Austria. Traffic is one of the issues in the Zugspitz Arena as there are very many visiting Dutch and Germans who drive to their Zugspitz Arena ski holidays and local traffic can be heavy at peak times.
