MUTTERS THE RESORT

Mutters is very much a traditional farm village and in recent years the ski lift was decommissioned and the ski area became the preserve of ski tourers, with locals taking easy ski tours after work throughout the winter. In 2006 a large investment program began and the Mutters ski area is being marketed widely as a beginners and family ski holiday resort. Mutters the village though retains its links to Innsbruck as well as its farming heritage. Innsbruck is connected by road and by the local tram that climbs up from Innsbruck down in the valley and continues on to Fulpmes and the Schlick 2000 ski area.

MUTTERS RESORT INFORMATION

Down in the valley beneath Mutters is Innsbruck, the capital city on Tirol and the biggest centre for some distance. Innsbruck has a superb range of entertainment and facilities as well as the main hospital in the province. Shopping is also excellent and there is a wonderful range of facilities to cater for all tastes and requirements.
