NAUDERS SKIING
At 2850m, the Nauders ski area offers a good altitude and the result is fairly reliable snow conditions. Located on the border with Italy and sharing a pass with the Italian side of the ski area, Nauders offers an interesting mix of skiing. Much of the skiing in Nauders favours the beginner or intermediate skiing or snowboarder and whilst there are black classified pistes within the Nauders ski area, these runs are not particularly challenging. The blue 2 piste from the top of the Zirmbahn offers a typical Nauders ski experience with wide, tree-less and forgiving skiing with good quality snow. Families are numerous in the ski area.
THE GOOD, THE BAD
We like:
Good snow record, kids area, intermediate cruisers and 2 extra sectors in Italy
We don`t like:
No ski-out from Nauders and not great for better skiers and boarders

NAUDERS SKI INFORMATION
Lower down in the Nauders ski area there are a few long, tree-lined ski pistes, Blue 21 is one of the best and offers a gentle and winding route all the way back down into Nauders. The run is ideal for intermediates who want to cover long distances. A terrain park is located just above the Bergkastel restaurant and lift complex, as is a dedicated kids ski area. The ski areas of Schoneben and Haideralm are located on the Italian side of the border and are part of the combined ski area and ski pass.
