NEUSTIFT APRÈS SKI

Apres ski in Neustift usually begins at the lift stations at the Stubai Glacier. Most people staying in Neustift ski or board on the Stubai Glacier and it is the focus of large crowds who dance and drink on the hotel and bar terraces that are located around the lift station. The apres ski at the Stubai Glacier subsides as the evening goes on and the action moves on to Neustift. In the centre of Neustift there are a number of bars and restaurants that are pretty lively until late.

As it good as it ever gets for October, this short video shows conditions on the slopes of the Stubai Glacier at the very start of the 08/09 winter season - quite superb skiing!

NEUSTIFT APRÈS SKI INFORMATION

Innsbruck is just down the valley from Neustift and offers some excellent night life, if somewhat different from the ski boots dancing in Neustift and at the Stubai Glacier. Innsbruck has pretty much the whole spectrum of amenities that you would expect from a university city with 120 000 inhabitants.

Some nice apres ski bars in Neusift, and mad music and dancing at the glacier until around 6pm - but not crazy apres ski in the village later on.
