NEUSTIFT THE RESORT

The ski holiday resort of Neustift is the biggest village of the Stubai Valley and has easily the best resort facilities. Neustift has its own leisure centre, a number of sport / hire shops as well as many restaurants and a good number of bars. Neustift has excellent transport connection to Innsbruck and has regular ski buses running to the nearby resorts. Tobogganing is on offer from the village. The centre of Neustift has a square and whilst not pedestrianised there are some fair sized terraces set back from the road. There are a number of bars and restaurants in this area. Neustift is fairly spread out and despite the fact that the road though the village gets all of the traffic heading to the glacier much of the resort is set back from the road.

NEUSTIFT RESORT INFORMATION

Whilst some of the accommodation is located close to the local Elferlift, most is located elsewhere in Neustift. This coupled with the fact that the biggest and most popular ski area in the Stubai Valley is the Stubai Glacier, then a car or ski bus is frequently required to get from the accommodation to the ski areas.

Neustift is really pretty resort and a few good pubs and restaurants. You can have a beer with the locals!!
