NEUSTIFT SKI HOLIDAYS

Neustift is the largest village in the Stubai Valley and the principal resort accessing the impressive Stubai Glacier. The resort is big, spread out, attractive and low rise and has numerous shared facilities including a leisure complex and numerous restaurants. Neustift offers good access to the Stubai Glacier as well as its local ski area of Elferlift and the Schlick 2000 ski area above Fulpmes. Regular ski and town buses connect Neustift to Innsbruck. Whilst the Elferlift ski area above Neustift is small, the ski area at Schlick 2000 is bigger and offers some interesting skiing, whilst the Stubai Galcier just down the valley from Neustift offers the best glacier skiing in Austria and possibly Europe. The Stubai Glacier is a big area, with excellent lifts and facilities.

NEUSTIFT SKI HOLIDAY INFO

Neustift is the biggest resort in the Stubai Valley and has a wide range of hotel-based and communal facilities. The resort is fairly spread out and there are several satellite villages that come under the Neustift area. Most of these villages are served by ski buses but can also be quite a walk from the centre of Neustift. The skiing in Neustift is spread over three distinct areas. The local ski area is the Elferlift is accessed via the gondola out of the village. Just down the valley from Neustift is Fulpmes which is the resort for the Schlick 2000 ski area and most impressive of all is the Stubai Glacier ski area which offers the best glacier skiing in Austria.
