OBERGURGL APRÈS SKI

There are a number of après ski huts on both the Fetskogl and Wurmkogl mountains. Hochgurgl has a few terrace and umbrella bars for afternoon socialising. Obergurgl has slightly more of the same, on the ski pistes that end around the central area of the village. Après ski in both Obergurgl and Hochgurgl is fun but relaxed in general.

OBERGURGL APRÈS SKI INFORMATION

All those visiting Obergurgl have to go through Solden. If you are after après ski action on your holiday then as soon as you see the main street of Solden with its throngs of gyrating revellers then run down the aisle of the coach and plead with the driver to stop. For après ski in Austria and possibly the Apls, Solden is the place to be, not Obergurgl.

See comment above about Fassl bar. Also try out CU Bar and cellar bar at Yosl Hotel. At the end of the day it is quite small for Apres and wont necessarily suit the livelier crowd. Great for a quick couple of drink with the family after skiing or slipping out for a cheeky couple before dinner. Didn't try any night clubs - too tired after playing pass the pigs in th e hotel bar! Most of the action I suspect stays in the respoective hotels of which there are quite a few.
