OBERTAUERN APRÈS SKI

Obertauern is one of the more upmarket ski resorts in the region south of Salzburg. That said it has enjoyable and lively après ski. Much of the après ski action takes place on the slope-side bars close to the lifts stations in the valley around Obertauern.

OBERTAUERN APRÈS SKI INFORMATION

Whilst après ski bars are numerous around the lift base stations and with a few bars in the centre of the village, Obertauern retains a rather refined feel to it. Après ski in Obertauern is fun rather than riotous but still one of the best in the region.

Not quite in the same league as St Anton/Ischgl etc. However there are sufficent resturants/bars/clubs to offer etertainment to those who feel the need, but without
comprimising the 'family' aspect of the resort. Without doubt the best bar is Nanu. Pricing is reasonable, doesn't seem to be any 'rip off' any where.

Try the Edelweisshütte or a Gamsmilch in the mountain station of the Zehnerkar.
