SOLDEN GLACIER APRÈS SKI ACTIVITIES
Not wanting to be too outdone by their neighbour down in the valley, both the Rettenbach and Teifenbach Glaciers have base stations with après ski bars. On sunny afternoons these terraces get full and lively. Après ski very much ends early at this height as there is no accommodation near the Rettenbach and Teifenbach Glaciers and all those skiing or boarding there they have to make their way back down into the resorts. Hochsolden is a quiet and relaxed ski holiday resort, the same cannot be said for Solden.
THE GOOD, THE BAD
We like:
Solden is the greatest après ski venue in the world
We don`t like:
The après ski actually at the glacier dies down very early as everyone there has to make their way back down the valley

SOLDEN GLACIER APRÈS SKI INFORMATION
Most people skiing at the Solden glaciers will be staying down the valley in Solden. Solden is the après ski king of the world. There are endless bars along the main road cutting through Solden as well as numerous points to stop off in on the ski pistes. Umbrella bars rock till late and crowds spill out on the pavement sand roads.
