Big resort, and linked by the ski-circus to Hinterglemm. Plenty of variety for all levels of skier/boarders.

Big, lively resort, but still has village atmosphere, and doesn't feel like some of the purpose built resorts.

Very family-orientated. Enrolling in the kids classes on the first morning, you will quickly see just how many families there are!

For those with the energy, plenty of apres-ski.

BUSC week meant that the atmosphere and prices were both very good.

The BUSC main event week meant that prices were good, plus acts such like the scratch perverts and urban knights meant an awesome atmosphere.

Great all round skiing conditions. Well run lift system. Helpful lift attendees. Will challenge most skiiers no matter what level.

Great village/town. Nice variety of restaurants. Great variety of bars (too much time spent in Bobbi's). Good shops - thanks to Claus at Intersport for the deal on my new boots!

Great Apres ski - sometimes went on too long - way past dinner!!!

Found the T Bar lifts were often too longer journey for some runs - chairlift would have been better.

All really reasonable, attended the resort with BUSC. Accomodation was better than expected and as the whole resort was basically taken over by students it was an awesome vibe!

Didn't experience too many families due to the time of season we went, but the nursey slope and ski schools seemed reasonably priced and lots of activites to do.

Alcohol not so cheap but a day of non stop boarding you soon got drunk... atmosphere was amazing due to the BUSC event and also friendliness of resort staff!

One word, perfect!

Some of the best intermediate skiing and snowboarding is Austria, all served by an excellent lift system.

All round Saalbach is an attractive and well equipped ski holiday resort.

Good facilities and pretty good access to the ski lifts. Beginners ski areas are located in the heart of Saalbach but après ski is pretty potent and can take from the atmosphere.

Après ski is the best in the region and some of the best in Austria. Some bars can charge but on slopes you can get a big beer for 2.5 euros on the slopes – that is value! The UK University ski championships competitors were well into the action by 4!
