Scheffau links up with all the neighbouring villiages by good access of cable cars, chair lifts and some T Bars. There are so many options of runs for intermediates that it would not be possible to enjoy them all in one week. Lots of bars and restuarants nestle among the mountains so you can easily find somewhere to stop and grab a bite to eat and drink while soaking up the views.

Scheffau is a quiet resort with few bars for evening nightlife, more suited for families. They have a very good Spar shop with reasonably priced goods.

Scheffau is brilliant for kids, especially the ski school. This is based at the top of the mountain so you don't have to keep skiing down to see how your angels are getting on. Brilliant instruction is provided for all abilities and they cater for several different languages. They take children as young as 4 and have a very good set up for them with lots of fun provided while learning.

As mentioned before probably not the resort to go to if you are looking for lively nightlife. The area at the bottom of the slopes can be entertaining at the end of the skiing day.

Scheffau is good for beginners and excellent for intermediates with a massive ski infrastructure. Advanced skiing at Scheffau is some of the best in the ski area.

Scheffau is located off and above the main road through the valley making it quieter and more attractive. A ski piste leads from the centre of Scheffau to the lifts in the valley.

Scheffau is very relaxed and good for families although it is not as big as Ellmau just down the valley.

Pretty good but a lot less potent than either Soll or to a lesser extent Ellmau.
