SCHLADMING FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

Schladming is not a typical ski resort. it is working town meaning that it is bigger than conventional resorts and that there is a good mix of local and guest on the streets. This adds a pleasant authenticity to the feel of Schladming and ensures that entertainment and facilities are abundant. The pedestrianised centre of Schladming is atmospheric, historic and a charming place to spend and evening.

SCHLADMING FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

For a quieter, smaller and more traditional ski resort feel then the nearby resorts on Rohrmoos and Haus im Ennstal are worth a look. They have far fewer resort facilities but are smaller and easier to navigate. Both Haus im Ennstal and Rohrmoos have good beginners ski areas just outside of the villages.

Good facilities in Schladming for families and the entire ski area is below the tree-line. There is little slope-side accommodation though.
