SCHRUNS FAMILY SKI HOLIDAYS

The 2 lifts that leave Schruns both access the Kapell restaurant and lift complex. The Zamangbahn is probably the best for families as it is a seated gondola, the other option being the twin stage cable car, the Hochjochbahn. At the Kapell area there is a dedicated and themed kids ski area on a built plateau. Parents can watch from the terrace at the Kapell restaurant some 10m or so away. Moving carpet lifts, themed activities and an indoor area are provided for kids. The ski area beyond the Kapell complex is fairly good for families, whilst the area which is a short distance away in the direction of Silbertal is a good area to advance into.

SCHRUNS FAMILY SKI INFORMATION

The ski holiday resort of Schruns is in fact more of a large village or small town and has a good deal of facilities to offer for family ski holidays. There are leisure facilities as well as shopping and a pretty and compact pedestrianised area in the centre of Schruns. The lack of any centrally departing ski lift means that a car or ski bus is often required to access and depart the ski area which is one downside for those on a family ski holiday.
