SEEFELD SKI HOLIDAYS

Seefeld is one of the more well know ski holiday resorts in Austria but similar to resorts like Kitzbuhel, Seefeld gets a great number of visitors to it for the resort facilities and atmosphere, in addition to the skiing. Cross-country skiing is another huge draw for guests to Seefeld. The skiing is decent enough in Seefeld but is spread out across numerous mountains around Seefeld. This is one of the charms for visitors, in particular families, but for the serious skiers or boarder then it is easy to exhaust the skiing opportunities of the valley pretty quickly. For families the skiing is ideal, relaxed and combined with a bustling and well equipped resort, Seefeld is an ideal destination for families who are looking for a holiday rather than just as ski week.

SEEFELD SKI HOLIDAY INFO

The resort of Seefeld is big and sprawling and has many facilities both hotel-based and within the resort. Seefeld is very much a year round resort and having hosted some Olympic events in the past the resort is very much in the big league of facility provision for the guest. The centre has a great pedestrianised area and entertainment is family orientated. The skiing in Seefeld is dominated by intermediate terrain. There is a diversity of ski hills to choose from that are dotted around the valley and many are small and relaxed in atmosphere. Advanced skier and boarders and those looking to cover many km’s in a day need to look elsewhere. For families and those looking for a holiday as well as skiing, Seefeld is a good option.
